Our reading of the Impress is typical: the current tag sits close to where this machine has spent most of the last 90 days, and the 90-day low is not meaningfully below it. The Impress is an assisted-tamp espresso machine with a grinder built into the same chassis. Two things follow from that description. Second, the tamping step, which is the part most new espresso owners get wrong, is guided by the machine rather than left to wrist pressure. It suits someone who wants to pull real espresso at home and is willing to learn dialling in, but does not want the outcome to depend on hand technique from day one.
